“We have dentistry, physiotherapy, and first aid health centers, but a medical college has been missing in Jamia. As a VC, I have always requested a medical college, on behalf of my students and faculty. We requested the government of India for the same, and now I am happy to announce that JMI has been granted permission to establish a medical college at the campus,” she announced at the ceremony.
Global Expansion:
In addition to the remarkable development of the medical college, Prof. Najma Akhtar unveiled JMI’s ambitious plans for global expansion. JMI is currently celebrating its Centenary Year, and as part of the festivities, the university hosted a grand Convocation at Vigyan Bhawan. Approximately 12,500 students, including those who graduated in 2019 and 2020, were honored with degrees and diplomas during this momentous event.
