Indonesia confirms Ramadan 2025 fasting to begin from tomorrow

The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Religion, has officially set the start of fasting for 1 Ramadhan 1446 Hijriah (2025 AD) on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The decision was made during the Isbat Session held at the Ministry of Religion Building in Jakarta on Friday.

Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar announced the results, stating, “The Isbat Session has confirmed that 1 Ramadhan 1446 Hijriah will fall on Saturday.” The declaration marks the official commencement of the holy month of Ramadan across Indonesia.
