March 2026- The organisers of the International Family Medicine Conference & Exhibition (IFM) have announced that the 2026 edition of the event has been postponed following recent developments in the region. The announcement was made through an official statement issued by the IFM team.

The event was originally scheduled to take place from March 24 to 26, 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. According to the organisers, new dates for the conference and exhibition will be communicated soon to ensure the best possible experience for delegates, visitors, and partners.

In their statement, the organizers noted that IFM and Dubai will continue to serve as an important hub for family medicine in the region. The platform will maintain its focus on innovation, knowledge exchange, and partnerships that support the future development of the sector.

The International Family Medicine Conference & Exhibition was first conceptualised in 2013 with the aim of strengthening the role of family medicine in improving public health. The initiative focuses on advancing health promotion, disease prevention, and curative care while encouraging equitable access to healthcare services and efficient delivery of community health programmes.

Over the years, IFM has developed into a meeting point for education, knowledge exchange, and professional networking through its conference sessions, workshops, and exhibition activities. The event attracts a wide range of participants, including general practitioners, public health administrators, community health professionals, preventive medicine specialists, nurses, social workers, educators, researchers, scientists, and other stakeholders involved in healthcare delivery.

Industry representatives such as pharmaceutical developers, manufacturers, distributors, and academic institutions also take part in the event, making it a multidisciplinary platform that connects healthcare professionals, researchers, and industry leaders.

The organisers said they look forward to welcoming participants to Dubai once the revised dates for IFM 2026 are announced.
