The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with EDGE Group to support the 46th World Congress of Military Medicine (ICMM Abu Dhabi 2026) as a Strategic Partner. The congress will be held in Abu Dhabi from 9โ13 November 2026.
The agreement was witnessed by Major General Staff Ayesha Sultan Al Dhaheri, Executive Director of the Military Health Executive Directorate at the Ministry of Defence and Chair of the ICMM Abu Dhabi 2026 Organising Committee, and H.E. Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE Group.

The partnership is part of the Ministry of Defence’s efforts to strengthen collaboration with leading national organisations across the defence, technology, and healthcare sectors in support of military and civilian medicine.
Organised by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with ADNEC Group, ICMM Abu Dhabi 2026 will bring together medical and military leaders, researchers, and experts from more than 120 countries. Held under the theme “Ready When Needed. Resilient When Tested,” the congress will focus on scientific advancements, knowledge exchange, and international cooperation in healthcare systems and operational medicine.

Through the partnership, EDGE Group will contribute its expertise in advanced technology, innovation, and specialised solutions to support the congress’s objectives of enhancing readiness and strengthening integration across military and civilian healthcare.
The collaboration reflects the UAE’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and reinforcing its position as a global hub for specialised healthcare, defence, and technology events.
