Demonstrating a significant humanitarian effort, the United Arab Emirates, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has commenced a vital humanitarian mission in Herat, Afghanistan. This initiative reflects a profound dedication to providing crucial support to the Afghan people who recently endured the devastating impact of a powerful earthquake.

To promptly address the urgent needs of the affected population, the authorities will establish a field hospital, equip it with medical supplies and medicines, ensuring the delivery of immediate healthcare and advanced surgical procedures to those injured by the seismic event. Consequently, This compassionate intervention highlights the UAE’s enduring mission to assist and alleviate the suffering of individuals globally, responding promptly to pressing humanitarian issues.

In response to the Afghan earthquake that struck Herat Province in western region, causing significant loss of life, including women and children, the United Arab Emirates has dispatched multiple relief aircraft carrying substantial quantities of food, medical supplies, and essential aid.
