King’s College Hospital London – Dubai has commenced Phase Two of the expansion of its Dubai Hills Hospital, with the project set to increase capacity to 200 beds and strengthen specialised and complex care services in the UAE.
The expansion was officially launched during a groundbreaking ceremony at King’s College Hospital London – Dubai Hills on 23 September 2026. The project is scheduled for completion in 2028 and will expand the hospital’s medical, surgical and critical care capabilities.
A key component of the expansion will be the development of an integrated cancer centre. The facility will bring together cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow-up services to support a more coordinated care pathway for patients. The project will also introduce radiotherapy services, expanding the hospital’s ability to provide cancer care within a single facility.

The additional capacity is expected to support the hospital’s growing range of specialised services and its ability to manage complex cases for patients in the UAE and the wider region.

The expansion also builds on the relationship between King’s College Hospital London – Dubai and King’s College Hospital Foundation Trust in London, supporting the continued development of specialist healthcare services in Dubai.
