One highlighted initiative during AccessAbilities Expo 2023, ‘SANED,’ empowers individuals with visual impairments to participate in the healthcare investment field in Dubai. This leading-edge initiative offers modern tools, procedures, investment opportunities tailored to the needs of visually impaired individuals and understanding of healthcare investment trends. It strengthens the Dubai Health Authority’s position as a disability-friendly institution. Additionally, the Dubai Health Authority presented the Dubai Clinical Guide for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This guide outlines standardized procedures for early intervention and the integration of treatment methods.
 
Various workshops at the event addressed the mental health needs of children and adolescents with disabilities and the challenges faced by caregivers. They also covered topics like teaching the basic alphabet using sign language and caregiver burnout prevention.
