Danaher Diagnostic Platforms and its four operating companies are deeply embedded in Saudi Arabia’s healthcare system. From expanding diagnostic access and accuracy to enabling a more efficient, resilient and patient-centered health system, our innovations are driving real progress.
The Vision Paper, ‘Shaping the Future of Healthcare in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’ sets out how diagnostics will serve as the foundation for prevention, precision, and equitable access to healthcare across the Saudi Arabian system. These efforts align directly with the goals of Vision 2030 and are designed to support local initiatives with the goal of co-creating value-based healthcare models.
Danaher envisions a healthcare system where diagnostics are seamlessly integrated at every point in the patient journey – from rapid point-of-care testing in emergency settings to precise diagnosis in maternal and women’s health care – diagnostics can support timely informed decisions across all care pathways. Within regional health clusters, diagnostics can act as the connective tissue linking hospitals, clinics and labs across the continuity of care, whether in Riyadh or remote regions.
Also attending the launch, and speaking at Global Health Exhibition, is Dr Murali Venkatesan, Global Head of Danaher Ventures and Corporate Vice President of Science Technology and Innovation.
“Our long-term success in Saudi Arabia depends on local partnerships and mutual investments – our Vision Paper sets out our commitment to exploring opportunities for even greater impact in the Kingdom, whether that’s through training or capacity building, all aimed at supporting the Kingdom’s goal of building a more resilient and patient-centered healthcare system,” Dr Venkatesan said.
