The Department of Health โ€“ Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate, will be showcasing a series of key projects and initiatives aimed at further strengthening the global healthcare system in the Emirate and cementing its position as a leading healthcare destination globally. Through its participation, the Department looks forward to highlighting the importance of collaboration to further enhance global healthcare systems and ensure the efficiency of healthcare services to all members of the community.

DoHโ€™s participation will exhibit several genomic projects which contribute to the goals of the National Genome Strategy which aim to support in establishing a comprehensive and sustainable genetic system. Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health โ€“ Abu Dhabi (DoH) said: โ€œArab Health is a prominent platform and valuable opportunity to showcase DoH and ADPHCโ€™s key projects and initiatives. The event enables cooperation with current and future partners, on both local and global levels, while exploring new areas of collaboration. These efforts further cement Abu Dhabiโ€™s position as a leading destination for healthcare and reinforce the Emirateโ€™s role in combatting common global challenges while unifying efforts to create a positive impact on global healthcare sectors.โ€

Al Ghaithi added: โ€œThis year, we look forward to forging new collaborations with partners focused on financing research and development in healthcare and life sciences, in addition to developing health data systems, along with other pivotal topics. In Abu Dhabi, we believe in the power of collaborative work to enhance the global healthcare sector and address global challenges. The transfer of knowledge and experiences contributes to the advancement of healthcare systems, enabling them to adapt to current and future challenges. Furthermore, similar platforms allow the establishment of health sectors that are flexible and sustainable in their operations, positively impacting the accessibility and quality of services and, consequently, the health and well-being of communities worldwide.โ€
