Canadian Specialist Hospital Dubai has announced a significant expansion of its Oncology Services with the launch of dedicated Onco-Surgery subspecialty services, strengthening its comprehensive cancer care capabilities in the UAE. The expansion brings together specialized surgical oncology expertise under one roof to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary treatment supported by advanced diagnostics, personalized care plans, and seamless continuity of care.
The enhanced oncology program is led by three newly appointed Surgical Oncologists: Dr. Amit Balai Chakraborty (Head & Neck Oncology), Dr. Jay Anam (Breast Oncology), and Dr. Vivek Sukumar (Gastrointestinal & Gynaecological Oncology). Their combined international expertise enables the hospital to manage complex and high-acuity cancer cases while reducing the need for patients to travel abroad for specialized cancer surgery.

The Oncology Department, led by Dr. Anwar Alroubaie, offers a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and advanced surgical oncology. The department also provides holistic patient support through pain management, nutritional counselling, psychological care, rehabilitation, and palliative services. To mark this milestone, the hospital has also launched a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative offering complimentary second medical opinions and specialist assessments for selected patients with complex cancer cases.
