Eid Al-Fitr 2026: Saudi Arabia declares no moon sighting, Eid on Friday

Saudi Arabia has announced that the crescent moon was not sighted, confirming that Eid Al-Fitr 2026 will be observed on Friday. With no verified moon sightings, Ramadan will complete 30 days, and Shawwal will begin on Friday. The announcement was shared by the Haramain Twitter account, which provides official updates on Islamic events in the kingdom.
