Harnessing support resources in coordination with all strategic partners

Sharjah Airport continues its efforts to provide all necessary measures and harness support resources in coordination with all strategic partners. This ensures comfortable and integrated travel service for the Hajj pilgrims by facilitating their travel requirements easily, including allocating a resting area for pilgrims arriving at the airport from various nationalities, a number of smart gates for completing procedures, ensuring the efficiency of luggage weighing, providing additional carts for luggage transportation and handling, as well as providing them with relevant guidance, necessary information, gifts, and traditional Arabian hospitality.

Providing medical examinations, health guidance, and appointing a religious guide

In this context, Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), through the Sharjah Airport Medical Services Clinic, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, provides medical examinations and health guidance that Hajj pilgrims should know and adhere to for their safety. This includes preparing and distributing a health guide booklet containing a package of tips, guidance, and necessary alerts to be considered throughout their journey to the Holy Kaaba and sacred sites. The SAA also coordinates with the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah to appoint a religious guide to answer awareness-raising inquiries on performing the rituals correctly.
