DentalDate TMJ Institute has expanded its specialist dental services in Dubai with the opening of a second clinic in Jumeirah, alongside its existing City Walk location. The expansion aims to improve access to diagnosis and treatment for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and provide an expanded focus on paediatric dentistry.

TMJ disorders affect the joint connecting the jaw to the skull and may cause jaw pain, clicking or locking, teeth grinding and chronic tension headaches. These symptoms can sometimes be attributed to stress or migraines, leaving some patients without a diagnosis for years.

DentalDate TMJ Institute focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ disorders using principles from the Austrian-German, or Viennese, school of gnathology and functional dentistry. Its approach considers the jaw joint, bite and muscles as an interconnected system. Diagnostic methods include condylography, functional analysis and 3D CBCT imaging to help identify the underlying causes of symptoms.

The Jumeirah clinic, which opened in March 2026, offers children’s dentistry, including preventive care, support for anxious children and early orthodontic assessment, alongside adult dental services.

Both clinics provide functional, restorative, aesthetic and paediatric dentistry, supported by a multilingual team speaking English, Russian and Arabic.
