Dubai, UAE: Valeo Health has reported a 60% increase in consultations between 2025 and 2026 as demand for GLP-1-based weight-management treatments grows across the UAE. The digital healthcare provider combines medical assessment, treatment monitoring, lifestyle tracking and medication delivery within one doctor-led programme.

The care pathway begins with a blood test, followed by a review of the patient’s medical history and an online consultation with a doctor. Treatment is prescribed only when considered medically appropriate, with ongoing monitoring continuing through the company’s digital platform.

Patients can use the app to record symptoms including nausea, fatigue and headaches and share updates with their medical team. This allows doctors to monitor treatment progress and make adjustments when required.

The platform also integrates data from wearable devices, including sleep, physical activity and workout information, alongside weight and medication details. This provides patients and clinicians with a broader view of factors that may influence treatment outcomes.

Medication delivery is also incorporated into the programme, allowing eligible patients to receive prescribed treatments at home. The increased demand comes amid growing interest in GLP-1 therapies in the UAE and the availability of additional weight-management options, including oral Wegovy.
