PureHealth has launched an AI-powered solution for The National Health Insurance Company โ Daman to streamline document processing and improve the efficiency of health insurance operations in the UAE. The technology is expected to process more than 60 million documents annually, supporting faster access to healthcare services for more than three million Daman members.
The solution is designed to convert over 80% of documents into structured digital data, reducing processing times from days to minutes. It is also expected to cut manual rework by more than 50%, enabling Daman teams to focus on areas including fraud detection, clinical quality assurance and member support.

For members and healthcare providers, the system aims to reduce errors and follow-up requests by identifying missing or incomplete information when documents are submitted. It will support processes ranging from policy enrolments and endorsements to complex claims through automated data handling and improved accuracy.
Developed by PureCS, a PureHealth subsidiary specialising in cloud and technology services, the platform combines large language models, intelligent document classification and structured data extraction. The system has been tailored to Damanโs operational requirements and provides a foundation for future AI applications, including claims and prior authorisation processing.
