The 22nd Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition (DIHAD 2026) concluded in Dubai, bringing together humanitarian organisations, government entities, international institutions and experts under the theme โHumanitarianism in Transition: Shaping the Future of Humanitarian Action.โ The final day focused on strengthening preparedness, resilience, innovation and practical humanitarian response.
The event featured the IECM Conference, with more than 7,500 attendees from 52 countries, 61 speakers and 59 sessions covering emergency management, disaster response and resilience. DIHAD Glasshouse / Limitless and the Humanthropy Academy also highlighted innovation, knowledge-sharing and capacity building across the humanitarian sector.

The Humanthropy Awards 2026 recognised 12 individuals and organisations for contributions to humanitarian action. UAE recipients included the UAE Aid Agency, Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia) and Al Jalila Foundation, while the Humanthropy Personality of the Year Award went to H.E. Jagan Chapagain, Secretary General and CEO of the IFRC.
