Abu Dhabi, UAE: Burjeel Holdings’ AI and technology arm, AiMed Solutions, in collaboration with Burjeel Training Academy, is bringing together 19 emerging technology innovators at the AI Builders Summit 2026 Live Demo Day.
The initiative attracted more than 100 registrations from students, recent graduates and young innovators across the UAE. Following a competitive evaluation, 19 finalists developed AI solutions addressing real-world healthcare challenges. Their projects cover clinical decision support, predictive analytics, digital patient experience, healthcare automation, operational efficiency, population health and medical education.

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Chairman and CEO of Burjeel Holdings, said, “Artificial intelligence has the potential to fundamentally reshape how healthcare is delivered, but meaningful transformation begins with identifying the right problems and bringing together people who are willing to solve them. Through this initiative, we want to give young innovators an opportunity to work alongside healthcare professionals, understand real clinical and operational challenges, and develop solutions that can create tangible value for patients. At the Live Demo Day at Burjeel Holdings’ headquarters in Abu Dhabi, finalists will present their solutions to a jury of healthcare, technology, AI, innovation and academic experts. Projects will be assessed based on healthcare relevance, potential impact, scalability and real-world application. Promising projects may receive mentorship, further development and collaboration opportunities through AiMed Solutions and Burjeel Holdings’ clinical and innovation teams.
Winning teams are expected to be recognised at a dedicated awards ceremony planned for September at 42 Abu Dhabi. The initiative aims to support young UAE talent and encourage practical AI solutions that can improve patient care, clinical decision-making and healthcare delivery.
