Catholic Health and GE HealthCare have entered into a 10-year strategic Care Alliance valued at approximately $500 million to expand access to advanced imaging, precision diagnostics, and AI-enabled healthcare technologies across Long Island, New York.
The partnership will modernize more than 1,300 pieces of medical equipment across Catholic Health’s hospitals and ambulatory locations, supporting enhanced care in cardiology, oncology, neurology, women’s health, maternal care, and diagnostic imaging. Approximately half of the equipment installations are expected within the first three years.

The alliance includes advanced imaging systems such as MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, mammography, and X-ray, alongside cloud-based digital solutions, AI-enabled technologies, and a comprehensive 10-year service and maintenance agreement covering more than 40 healthcare sites.

The collaboration also introduces an embedded cardiovascular scientist to support clinical innovation and incorporates GE HealthCare’s Imaging 360 platform to improve workflow efficiency, increase equipment reliability, reduce diagnostic delays, and enhance patient access to specialized services closer to home.
The strategic alliance is expected to improve operational efficiency, expand clinical capacity, strengthen diagnostic capabilities, and deliver more consistent, patient-centered care while supporting Catholic Health’s long-term technology modernization and healthcare innovation goals.
