Dubai Humanitarian has dispatched its fourth relief airlift to Uganda to support the ongoing Ebola response, delivering 72.5 metric tonnes of humanitarian supplies in partnership with WFP/UNHRD and UNICEF.
The shipment includes water purification tablets, mobile storage units, generators, cold-chain equipment, tarpaulins, and hygiene facilities to strengthen outbreak response efforts. The latest mission reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to global humanitarian relief, bringing Dubai Humanitarian’s emergency aid deliveries to more than 450 metric tonnes across multiple crises in 2026.

Giuseppe Saba, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Humanitarian, said: “Four airlifts in, this operation shows what steady leadership and clear vision can achieve. The United Arab Emirates and the Government of Dubai have made sure that when our partners need to move relief, they can, and that is exactly what a response to an outbreak like this demands.”
