Doha, Qatar โ€“ Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has launched a public awareness campaign to encourage eligible patients to undergo annual health checkups, reinforcing its commitment to preventive healthcare and early disease detection.

The campaign targets eligible Qatari patients registered at PHCC health centers through text message invitations, encouraging them to schedule annual health checkups and take advantage of preventive screening services.

Dr. Samya Ahmad Al Abdulla, Assistant Managing Director for Clinical Affairs and Executive Director of Operations at PHCC, said ‘The initiative aims to increase awareness of routine health screenings, improve access to preventive care, and promote early diagnosis of diseases.”

Patients can book an annual health checkup by calling 107, while all individuals aged 18 years and above are also eligible to access the service without a prior appointment. PHCC health centers provide the service around the clock, accommodating scheduled appointments, walk-in patients, and self-referrals.

The corporation noted that initial health assessments are conducted in person, while follow-up consultations may be offered remotely when clinically appropriate, providing greater flexibility for patients.

PHCC said “It is fully prepared to meet increased demand generated by the campaign and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality preventive healthcare services that support community well-being and improve public health outcomes.”
