SEHA’s Tawam Hospital has launched the “Best of ASCO 2026 UAE” programme in Al Ain, convening oncology professionals from across the country to review key findings from the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s 2026 Annual Meeting.
The two-day event, running 27 and 28 June at Al Ain Rotana Hotel, is organised by Tawam Hospital’s Department of Oncology and hosted under SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, the Middle East’s largest healthcare group.
The programme spans eight scientific sessions, 47 licensed ASCO abstract presentations, and 15 sponsored sessions covering major cancer types including breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynaecologic, and haematologic malignancies, alongside immunotherapy, CNS tumours, sarcoma, and supportive care.

Dr Balaraj said the programme is designed to bring selected global oncology updates into focused discussion with the UAE oncology community, supporting practical learning and multidisciplinary clinical exchange.
