Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville has announced a partnership with Healium, an immersive media and biofeedback technology company, to bring virtual reality (VR) experiences to patients receiving oncology, maternity, emergency, and behavioral health services.
Made possible through Digital Health KCโs Accelerate Program, the initiative aims to expand access to innovative healthcare technologies in rural communities. Healiumโs platform combines calming virtual environments with wearable biometric feedback, allowing patients to visualize physiological signals such as heart rate and brainwave activity in real time.
