March 2025- Nemours Children’s Health announced the appointment of Caswell L. Samms III, MBA, as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

As CFO, Samms will lead financial strategy, ensuring Nemours Children’s maintains its financial strength and stability as the organization continues its commitment to delivering the highest quality care and addressing all of the factors that impact child health. He succeeds Rodney McKendree, who retired as CFO in February.

Samms brings more than 25 years of progressive experience in large healthcare systems. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at St. Joseph’s Health in Paterson, New Jersey. His executive experience includes budgeting, revenue cycle, business development, and operations.
