H.E. the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, received today H.E. the Syrian Minister of Health,ย Dr. Musaab Nazzal al-Ali, and his accompanying delegation at the SFDA headquarters in Riyadh.

During the meeting, both sides discussed areas of joint cooperation to develop technical and scientific capabilities, including building strategic partnerships with Syria in several fields. These include developing regulatory legislation and regulations for medical devices and supplies, organizing specialized training programs and workshops, and exchanging expertise and information on regulatory systems and standards for food and drug.

This cooperation comes as part of the SFDAโs ongoing efforts to strengthen its partnerships with relevant authorities across Arab countries, thereby contributing to the development of regulatory systems, enhancing human resource efficiency, and supporting safety frameworks to better protect consumers in the food and drug sectors.
