Sanad Village, the region’s largest center supporting individuals with autism and related disorders, in collaboration with Les Marionnettes Puppet Theatre, is set to roll out the school tour of their special puppet production,
“Different Together”, a heartwarming show that promotes inclusion, empathy, and the beauty of diversity.
Following a highly successful premiere during Autism Awareness Month at Les Marionnettes Theatre in Sunset Mall, the show will now travel to schools across Dubai. In partnership with Les Marionnettes Puppet Theatre, Sanad Village is bringing this meaningful initiative directly to young audiences through both in-school performances and organized theatre visits, while the show continues its run at the theatre for the general public.
Different Together takes place in a whimsical forest where characters learn to embrace their differences, weaving a story of friendship, understanding, and kindness. Through creative storytelling and vibrant puppetry, the show teaches children how compassion and acceptance can transform differences into strengths.
The premiere attracted a diverse group of more than 30 attendees, including representatives from the Community Development Authority, educators, psychologists, parents, and students, all united by a shared commitment to inclusivity. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many calling the show
“inspiring,” “educational,” and “a valuable tool for the classroom.”
Building on this momentum, Sanad Village and Les Marionnettes is taking the message on the road, aiming to reach as many students and communities as possible across the emirate. By engaging children in a fun and emotionally resonant way, the initiative supports ongoing efforts to nurture inclusive mindsets from a young age.
