Kuala Lumpur- March 2025- Premier Integrated Labs, a leading medical diagnostic laboratory that is part of IHH Healthcare Malaysia, has become the first laboratory in the country to introduce Metabolomic Testing. This new service supports preventive healthcare by enabling early detection of metabolic risks and providing personalised health insights.
Launched in collaboration with Lifespin GmbH, a German healthtech company specialising in metabolomic assessments powered by proprietary AI software, the partnership will see the introduction of Lifespin’s General Health Assessment platform in Malaysia and Brunei, offering a new approach to health monitoring through data-driven diagnostics.
Metabolomic Testing uses NMR spectroscopy to analyse over 250 biomarkers from a single blood sample. Results are processed using AI and delivered through a secure cloud platform. The test supports early detection of metabolic risks including cardiovascular diseases, inflammation, liver disorders and diabetes, often before symptoms are present.
By integrating this service into routine clinical care, Premier Integrated Labs aims to support more proactive health management, enabling individuals and clinicians to make informed decisions earlier. The approach also supports therapy monitoring and tailored treatment planning.
