Dubai will host the 31st International Society of Hypertension Scientific Meeting alongside the 17th Emirates Cardiac Society Annual Conference (ISH-ECS 2026) from 22 to 25 October 2026. The event marks the first time the international meeting will be held in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Emirates Cardiac Society (ECS), in collaboration with Dubaiโ€™s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), secured the opportunity through a joint bid. The conference aims to connect regional healthcare professionals with international scientific networks and bring regional research, clinical experience and healthcare priorities into global discussions on hypertension and cardiovascular care.

The four-day programme will bring together hypertension specialists, cardiologists, researchers and other healthcare professionals. It has received 290 scientific research submissions from more than 70 countries and will feature 160 international speakers from outside the UAE and Gulf region, alongside 140 UAE-based speakers.

The scientific agenda includes more than 380 lectures and five specialised workshops covering developments in hypertension and cardiovascular medicine. Accredited by the European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals (EBAC), the meeting offers 23 hours of continuing medical education (CME).
