The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) has signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding with Ultrahuman Healthcare SP LLC to develop and validate a Biological Health Age model. The initiative will combine clinical biomarker data with wearable health data to provide personalised insights into health and ageing.
The model aims to help individuals understand how cardiovascular health, sleep, metabolism and recovery influence long-term well-being. By identifying potential health risks earlier, the initiative seeks to support timely interventions and more targeted preventive healthcare strategies.

H.E. Dr. Rashed Alsuwaidi , Director General of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, said: “Public health is evolving from a model centered primarily on disease management to one that focuses increasingly on prediction, prevention and early intervention. Understanding how populations age and identifying the factors that influence healthy longevity are essential components of that transition. This collaboration will help strengthen our ability to generate evidence, develop new public health tools and translate data into practical insights that support healthier communities across Abu Dhabi.”
Unlike chronological age, biological health age assesses multiple indicators to provide a broader picture of how the body is ageing. The collaboration supports Abu Dhabiโs vision of shifting from disease treatment towards predictive, preventive and personalised healthcare, with a greater focus on extending healthy life expectancy.
The agreement includes joint scientific research, clinical validation and the responsible use of health data. Both organisations have committed to keeping all data within Abu Dhabi, supported by confidentiality measures, robust governance, clinical oversight and privacy protections.
Mohit Kumar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer ofย Ultrahuman Healthcare SP LLC, said: “This collaboration represents an important opportunity to combine continuous health monitoring with one of the world’s most advanced health ecosystems. Abu Dhabi has created an exceptional environment for developing and validating population-scale health innovations, and we are proud to contribute to this important work alongside ADPHC.”

The initiative builds on Abu Dhabiโs investments in genomics, digital health and population health infrastructure. By integrating clinical research, public health programmes and wearable technology, ADPHC and Ultrahuman aim to develop evidence-based tools that help people live healthier lives for longer.
