The Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai and Dubai Health have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen healthcare and social support for couples preparing for marriage and families at different stages of family formation. The partnership aims to promote reproductive health awareness, improve access to specialised healthcare services and encourage preventive care through coordinated government initiatives.
The collaboration supports the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme, the Dubai Weddings initiative and the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33. It will focus on supporting couples and families through preconception, pregnancy and postnatal stages by promoting reproductive health education, early consultations, health screenings and informed family planning.
