Jamjoom Pharma has partnered with Bioventure Healthcare (BVH), a subsidiary of Mubadala Bio, to commercialise ustekinumab in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), strengthening its presence in the specialty pharmaceutical market.
Under the agreement, Jamjoom Pharma will act as the exclusive commercial partner for BVH’s ustekinumab product in the UAE. The company will manage commercialisation activities and engage healthcare professionals in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

The collaboration combines BVH’s pharmaceutical portfolio and quality capabilities with Jamjoom Pharma’s established commercial network and regional experience across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
Ustekinumab is a monoclonal antibody used to treat certain immune-mediated inflammatory conditions, including plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Its use and availability in the UAE will be subject to the product’s regulatory status, approved indications and applicable prescribing requirements.

Through the partnership, BVH will leverage Jamjoom Pharma’s local market presence to support commercial operations, while Jamjoom Pharma expands its specialty medicines portfolio.
Both companies have identified improving patient access to specialty care and supporting the UAE’s healthcare ecosystem as key priorities of the collaboration.
