A partnership between SEHA Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and Cincinnati Childrenโs Hospital in the United States has enabled 969 children to receive specialised medical care in Abu Dhabi between April 2025 and June 2026.
The collaboration also helped 189 families access advanced paediatric treatment locally, reducing the need to travel overseas for specialised care.
The figures were announced ahead of the 20th SEHA International Paediatric Conference (SIPC 2026), taking place from October 16 to 18 at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi. Organised by SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, in collaboration with Cincinnati Childrenโs, the conference is expected to bring together around 700 healthcare professionals.
