Fujifilm Middle East & Africa has launched its regional โPink Octoberโ breast cancer awareness initiative across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kenya, aiming to promote early detection, community engagement and support for women affected by breast cancer.
Running throughout October, the initiative is being delivered in partnership with healthcare institutions across the four markets. Awareness activities and educational programmes will bring together patients, families, healthcare professionals and visitors to encourage conversations around breast cancer screening and prevention.
Breast cancer remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women worldwide. Fujifilm is using the campaign to highlight the importance of routine mammography, early diagnosis and timely treatment, while encouraging women to prioritise regular screening.

The initiative also highlights Fujifilmโs breast imaging technologies, including the AMULET Sophinity digital mammography system. The system combines high-resolution digital mammography and image processing with AI-supported positioning and quality analysis, alongside features designed to support patient comfort and low-dose screening.
Shin Tagawa, Managing Director, FUJIFILM Middle East FZE said: โBehind every diagnosis is an individual journey, and our responsibility goes beyond the solutions we provide. Through Fujifilm Pink October, we are proud to work alongside healthcare institutions across the region, bringing together our imaging expertise and community participation to support women in taking that next step, and to stand with those affected by breast cancer.โ
