Lebanon has received 3.5 tons of WHO-supported emergency medical supplies to sustain critical healthcare services amid rising system pressures.
The Ministry of Public Health, in partnership with the World Health Organization and the UNICEF, has received a shipment of essential medical supplies at Rafik Hariri International Airport to support Lebanon’s healthcare system as it faces increasing pressure from rising needs.

The delivery includes 3.5 tons of trauma and emergency medical supplies provided by WHO, with funding support from the European Commission Humanitarian Aid. The supplies are intended to maintain continuity of trauma care and address acute and infectious diseases. They comprise medicines and medical equipment required to sustain critical healthcare services across hospitals, primary healthcare centres, and mobile health units serving affected communities.
